GAZA, 1st June, 2025 (WAM) -- The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 54,418, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of Israeli bombardment on 7th October 2023. This follows the arrival of 37 fatalities at hospitals across the Strip in the past 24 hours.
Palestinian medical sources reported today that the number of injured has also climbed to 124,190, after 136 people were wounded. Several victims remain trapped beneath the rubble, as ambulance and civil defence crews are unable to reach them.
