TEHRAN -- One of the members working in Azerbaijan's Embassy was killed and two others injured in an armed attack on the embassy in the Iranian capital on Friday morning.
Hossein Rahimi, Tehran police chief, said the assailant hit the employee while the employee was parking his car in front of the embassy's entrance at 8:25 local time (0455 GMT), reported the semi-official Mehr news agency on Friday. (Iran-Azerbaijan Embassy-Armed Attack)

ANKARA -- Türkiye condemned the burning of the Quran by a far-right politician near a mosque in Denmark on Friday.

JERUSALEM -- At least eight people were killed and 10 others injured in a shooting attack in a settlement in East Jerusalem on Friday night, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a tweet.

ADEN, Yemen -- At least eight people were killed on Friday in an attack launched by the Houthi fighters on military sites of the Yemeni government forces in the southern province of Lahj, a local military official told Xinhua.
