RAMALLAH -- Palestine on Friday condemned the Israeli government's plan to build 3,000 new housing units in Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

ADEN, Yemen -- The Saudi-led coalition on Friday intensified its airstrikes toward the Houthi rebels in Yemen's northern province of Marib, a government official told Xinhua.

ISLAMABAD -- Two soldiers and a terrorist were killed during an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, an army statement said on Friday.

MOSCOW -- A total of 17 people were killed in a blast and the ensuing fire at an explosives factory in Russia's Ryazan region on Friday, the TASS news agency reported.
